Interior Design Hale

Sandow is a five-bedroom detached house in Hale. We renovated it throughout and added a rear extension that introduced a second living room, connected to a redesigned kitchen and breakfast room.

Sandow is a useful example of the kind of project we can help with in Hale: not simply adding another room, but reconsidering how the ground floor works for family life. Hale is near Altrincham, in Trafford. Site visits are a straightforward journey from our studio at The Colony in Wilmslow.

At Sandow, the rear extension introduced a second living room connected directly to the redesigned kitchen and breakfast room. Rather than simply adding floor area, the new space became part of the main family living arrangement.

The rest of Sandow was renovated as part of the same project, so the existing house and the new ground-floor extension were considered together.

We start by understanding how the house is used and what needs to change. After visiting the property, we develop the layout, lighting, joinery and finishes, then prepare the drawings and specifications needed by the builder and specialist trades.

That work is run from our studio at The Colony in Wilmslow, so a visit to Hale is a straightforward journey.
